Mindfulness Exercise

Become aware of the thinker:

Try this awareness exercise today. Listen to your thoughts throughout today objectively, as if your best friend is sitting beside you talking to you.

What is "your friend" saying to you, would you like your friend, or have them around if they were saying what you are saying to yourself. Does it stop talking, likely not.. even in the shower when your main job is to clean yourself, it's still talking constantly..

When you become aware of your consent thinking, you can become detached from what it is saying. You realise that you are the one listening to the thoughts not the thoughts themselves
