Gratitude as a Mindfulness Practice – Mindful Menace

Gratitude as a Mindfulness Practice

Mindfulness Practice: Gratitude...

Before I started practicing gratitude I would find myself in horrifically bad form for days on end. Constantly p***ed off with the way my life was turning out and envious of others.

Then I discovered this simple but profoundly helpful practice "Gratitude". When I wake up every morning and before I fall asleep at night in bed I will think of 30 things that I am grateful for. Staying with each for a couple of seconds and really feeling in my body how happy each blessing makes me.

It has completely changed my outlook. Yes I still have my bad days but they are far fewer than before.

I also try this practice when I feel myself in bad form, getting angry or feeling jealous...

This mindfulness practice is by far what has helped me most in living a more full happy life
